Absolutely great! Great ambience and relaxing atmosphere, just what you need after work. Service and quality are guaranteed and capitalized here, the two waitresses are very personable and courteous. The Leipzig larks here are GREAT and I can really recommend them. Good choice for the wines too. All in all: WONDERFUL!

It's always a very cozy place to come down, have an after-work drink or just chat with the waiters. You are always served quickly and in a friendly manner!

Very nice here. Attentive and friendly service. Nice atmosphere with pleasant furnishings. The chic and the touch of the theater world: that could be a good description. In the entrance there is a piano and some tables to sit in in the passage allow the unbroken view of the strollers. The bar looks inviting.

The cleanliness and hygiene is perfect here and the hospitality is high, but not intrusive either. A really great recommendation for a well-known but still modern restaurant. ?????

My favorite place. The last resort in the dying Leipzig bar, coffee house and pub culture. Service and friendliness are still very important here. The two bosses and the staff are professionals and you can tell. Very good cuisine, good wines - feel-good character with a longing for old Leipzig coffee house culture.

My husband and my favorite bar .... very nice service ..... very friendly .... and the food and drinks are delicious .... great atmosphere .... when we are in Leipzig that is part of it.

Quality, very good service and tradition are offered here under the Meìßner bells in the Mädlerpassage. Very good urban quality of stay.

To be honest, I can't understand all of these positive reviews. It is registered that you sit down, you get a card and wait 20 minutes, then you ask about the cake offer and apart from stuttering you get no answer from the young man in mapped trousers and gray vest. Coffee lukewarm after another 10 minutes. When asked about the cake offer, I got the answer “colleague” is coming soon, but he didn't come. After 3 reminders, I was finally able to pay for my coffee. But the best question was during the payment “... you didn't want cake“ “. Seldom been so ignored. In my opinion 3 of 4 waitresses unfriendly and this young gentleman pure arrogance. It is better to talk to three people behind the counter. The friendly young lady served outside as inside, cleared and cashed like crazy. As a precaution, I canceled the reserved table for the evening, although I was looking forward to the liver. Then in the coffee Mephisto next door and looks there - less than 5 minutes later I had my coffee and an apple pie?

As always a dream! From the food, to the drinks and of course the great staff! Just another perfect afternoon!

Very friendly service in the caraway pharmacy .... the cold cucumber soup was even passed through, because I can only eat fluently due to an op ..... good shady ambience in the passage of Leipzig, where you can find this restaurant ...

We were here for breakfast and very happy with it. Price / performance ratio is right. The oysters were fresh and the taste was very good. So our breakfast was very well rounded and we look forward to the next breakfast there when we are back in Leipzig.

We were a guest in the caraway pharmacy last Friday. Luckily we had pre-ordered, otherwise we would not have had a place. We were served really friendly and the food was excellent. The prices are reasonable too. We will definitely be back

Nice little bistro located in the historic Mädlerpassage. Very fast friendly service. We had coffee and cake, all very tasty. Priced perfectly fine.

Small, nice restaurant. Central location. Good appointment point. Food and beverage offer is well put together. Inside you can sit comfortably and outside you can experience the flaneurs in the Mädler Passage. The Freistzt is exactly in its rotunda vis á vis the carillon from Meissen porcelain! This still tells of times gone by, when here was the Royal Saxon showroom for the royal manufactory product since its invention. The cattery pharmacy is a popular appointment point due to its central location!

Delicious traditional Leipzig dessert, great cappuccino, lovely setting in an old Passage in central Leipzig. Good place to have a break and people watch.

Very good ambiance, kind and friendly service but not heavy... i really appreciated this place. And the food was simply awesome ! I heaviltly recommand the bread soup, and the sweat potato soup and we simply loved the smoked salmon. A bit pricy for Leipzig but I would definitely go again !!

I ate a late lunch here before running in the Leipzer Nachtlauf 10K. Nothing was appropriate as prerace food -- basically everything was greasy, covered in cheese, smothered in cream sauce, etc. The Michelin guide says that you can order a "light meal" here, but I don't think that is the case. The food itself tasted fine. As far as the decor goes, Mädlerpassage is just not impressive. We sat "outside" in the arcade, but there really wasn't anything nice to look at. You may as well be eating in a food court at an average American shopping mall.
